After the Decade Year Masterclass • Your invitation to AQMeets

From the masterclass to your own work

Bring your Decade Year into the work ahead

Make progress on a goal that matters, with a regular place to review, learn and decide what comes next.

The masterclass introduced Fractal Feedback: a way to connect your daily experience with decisions about your habits, strategy and longer-term direction.

AQMeets helps you put it into practice.

Bring a project you want to complete, a responsibility you want to handle better, or a goal that deserves more consistent attention. Use the programme’s tools, facilitated reviews and peer environment to move it forward.

AQMeets Pro includes the full programme and Jonah’s Club. AQMeets Leader adds recurring private Leadership Counselling.

Pro: $997 for one year
Leader: $4,997 for one year

Begin with what matters

What would you like to carry forward from the masterclass?

You may have recognised an important goal that keeps losing its place in the week. You may have seen why a familiar approach is no longer helping. Or you may have a question that needs more thought before you can choose a direction.

You can begin with any of these.

AQMeets gives you a regular occasion to work on them: make a plan, act, examine what happened and decide what to do next.

As you continue, that experience gives you a firmer basis for your decisions. You can see which approaches deserve more time, where a capability needs development, and when a larger change may be warranted.

Fractal Feedback

When progress stalls, what needs to change?

A delayed task might need a clearer next action.

Repeated delays might reveal a missing skill, an unrealistic estimate or a commitment that has never been given enough time.

Work completed consistently without the intended result might call for a different strategy.

These situations require different responses. Fractal Feedback helps you examine the difficulty at the level where a useful decision can be made.

AQMeets connects daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual practice so that experience from the work can inform those decisions. The decisions then shape what you do next.

An example: getting a new service ready to launch

You intend to launch a service, but the proposal remains unfinished.

At first, you decide to protect more writing time. After several attempts, you notice that the same section keeps stopping you: explaining the customer problem the service will solve.

That observation gives you a more specific question to investigate.

You speak with prospective clients. Their responses help you clarify the offer, revise the launch plan and choose different work for the coming week.

The review has changed where you direct your effort.

AQMeets provides connected worksheets and facilitated practice for working through questions like this. You examine the evidence, consider your options and carry a decision into action.

Your participation

What you do inside AQMeets

You work with your own goals and circumstances.

Before a review, the programme’s instruments help you record your intentions, results and relevant observations. In a facilitated gathering, you use that material to examine progress and decide what needs attention.

You might leave with a clearer action, a revised plan, a capability to develop or a question that requires further investigation.

You then apply the decision and bring the resulting experience into the next review.

Over time, the records give you something useful to return to. You can see what you tried, why you changed direction and what happened afterwards.

Achieve

Make progress towards worthwhile aims.

Adapt

Improve your approach through experience.

Integrate

Consider your goals alongside your relationships, responsibilities and wider commitments.

The connected practice

A place for each kind of decision

The programme connects five scales of action and review.

Day

Daily Directives

Choose the actions that deserve your attention today. Record observations that may help you understand the work.

Week

Weekly Wraps

Review execution while the details are recent. Recognise progress, examine difficulties and decide what to carry into the next week.

Month

Monthly Masteries

Look at recurring patterns. Develop the habits, capabilities and systems that your work requires.

Quarter

Quarterly Quests

Choose and review your strategy. Define the work, resources and standards that will help you judge progress.

Year

Annual Aims

Review your circumstances and choose the vital few priorities for the year. Allocate resources, establish boundaries and decide what to leave aside.

A question can receive attention whenever the evidence warrants it. The calendar provides regular opportunities to review; your circumstances help determine what needs examination.

Higher Horizons

Give your plans a wider perspective

Some decisions depend on what you want your work and life to serve.

What are you building towards over the longer term? Which responsibilities should shape your choices? What contribution do you hope to make? What principles should govern the way you pursue success?

Higher Horizons provides time to consider these questions through four fields:

Far Horizon

The direction you are considering over the coming years.

Lifetime

What deserves attention within the life you have.

Legacy

The contribution and consequences that may continue beyond you.

Eternal

The enduring standards by which you judge your aims and conduct.

The two-day midyear gathering helps you develop a Higher Horizons Charter to inform your planning. January Annual Aims brings those commitments into decisions about the year.

You choose which reflections to discuss with others and which to keep private.

Jonah’s Club

Work with people who come to know your aims

Both Pro and Leader include Jonah’s Club, the programme’s private peer environment.

Regular contact gives conversations continuity. Other members can remember what you are working towards, ask useful questions and offer perspectives you may not have considered.

You can discuss an obstacle, examine an assumption or think through a decision with people engaged in the same practice.

You choose what to share. Your goals and decisions remain yours.

The programme is led by John Angheli, founder of AQMeets and the Center for Motivation Research. His work brings together business, education, philosophy and leadership counselling.

AQMeets Leader

What private counsel adds

Some questions benefit from time to explain the circumstances fully.

In Leadership Counselling, you can examine your interpretation, consider alternatives and think through the consequences of a decision with John.

You might use a session to prepare for a difficult conversation, investigate why a familiar problem keeps returning, or consider whether a proposed direction fits your responsibilities.

Later sessions allow you to return to the question with experience of what happened.

The purpose is to help you exercise your judgment with greater care and understanding.

Included in Pro and Leader

Support for patterns that keep returning

Both memberships include the 40-day iLifeChange Experiment.

This pathway examines motivation, assumptions, habits and competing rewards. It can help you investigate situations where a reasonable plan repeatedly gives way to another behaviour.

You can use what you learn in your ongoing AQMeets practice. Leader members can also bring these questions into private counselling.

Getting started

Your first weeks

Choose something to work on

Begin with a goal, project or responsibility that matters to you. It can be something already underway.

Establish your starting point

Use the orientation materials and Execution Scorecard to examine your current approach and identify where attention would be useful.

Review an actual week

Bring your intentions and experience into the Weekly Wrap practice. Decide what to continue, change or investigate.

Apply the decision

Carry the outcome into the next week’s work. As you become familiar with the programme, connect it with your monthly, quarterly and annual planning.

Leader members also have private counselling available alongside this practice.

Your questions

Before you choose

Do Pro and Leader include the same programme?

Yes. Both include Fractal Feedback, Higher Horizons, the five scales of planning and review, and Jonah’s Club. Leader adds recurring private Leadership Counselling.

Do I need a fully defined goal before joining?

You can bring an existing goal or a question about what deserves your attention. The orientation and review practices help you establish a useful starting point.

What if my priorities change?

You can examine the reasons and revise your plans. Progress may involve continuing a commitment, changing its scope or releasing it when circumstances warrant that decision.

Is this only for business goals?

No. Many members bring business and professional responsibilities, but the framework also applies to learning, health, relationships, family responsibilities and personal projects.

I already use a planner. Can I keep it?

Yes. Your planner can continue to organise your work. AQMeets adds practices for examining what happened, understanding relevant patterns and deciding how your plans should change.

What if I miss a live gathering?

Supporting materials and available replays help you continue the work. Use the programme calendar to plan your participation.

Which membership should I choose?

Choose Pro if you want the full programme, facilitated reviews and peer environment. Choose Leader if you also want recurring private time with John to examine your situation and decisions individually.
